The implants we embed are composed of two parts. The first part is integrated into the bone, and the second is a so-called supra-structure with a hexagonal interlock or internal cone-in-cone connection, which is screwed into the piece integrated into the bone.
The supra-structure-abutment is the part on which the metal-ceramic or zirconia crown is cemented. The supra-structure plays the role of a ground tooth. There are flat-top and conical superstructures, each as a function of the inclination needs of the future ceramic crowns.
